As our Maymester programs hit the road (and the skies) in the next few weeks, we want to introduce a number of new staff who are now fully on board and eager to welcome students to the South Pacific.  Here’s the update from Christchurch:

At the helm, we are thrilled to welcome our new leader, Mary Ogburn, as our International Programs and Development Director here with us in Christchurch. Having previously worked with our programs at Virginia Tech, Mary now joins us from Boston University Study Abroad and is excited to get to know the New Zealand mountain landscape.

We are also delighted to be joined by our new Academic Affairs and Student Safety Manager; Dr. Caralyn Purvis. With a Ph.D. in Education and extensive experience traversing the New Zealand landscape, Caralyn has already leveraged her expertise for some great new programming.

The logistics team is now complete and energized with four top-notch new staff. Simon Lloyd and Kirsty Hole have joined the team as Program Coordinators, Samantha Low is our new Program Assistant, and Helen Beumelburg has taken on the role of University Liaison.

Within the Marketing and Development division, our long-serving Marketing and Communications Manager Eleanor Mitchell is now working specifically on our business development and customised program management, while Hannah Strange has served tirelessly to fill the role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator for all of our existing partners over the last two years.

If you have any questions about any of the staffing changes or who you should contact, please do not hesitate to contact one of the team; we are all more than happy to point you in the right direction.

Here at AUIP we are ready for a summer filled with academically enriching international programs. We hope you will all get the chance to meet some of our great team during your travels and wish them the best of luck in their new roles!
