Most of our students can’t wait to visit Queenstown on their New Zealand program because it’s the Adventure Capital of the World. But not many know about the delicious food served up around town in endless cafes and restaurants.
Well, we’re here to get the word out about some of our favorite places to chow down after a busy afternoon of hiking and jet boat riding:
The Cow is a Queenstown institution that serves great pizza and pasta in an historic building that is always warm and cozy with a roaring open fire.
Fergburger is an attraction in itself! An appetite is a must have if you want to finish one of these massive burgers- you have been warned! Pictured left, Eleanor and Sara from our staff begin the mission of each eating a burger. They failed to complete the task and agreed they should’ve shared one.
Patagonia Chocolates satisfies a sweet tooth with decadent chocolates and ice creams. We suggest the raspberry sorbet or dulce de leche ice cream.
Winnies must be on your dining list if you’re a pizza lover. The hip atmosphere, including a roof that opens at night for stargazing, will leave you wanting to return.
