I will turn 30 in New Zealand.Lake Tekapo

I will be in the perfect place to celebrate a momentous occasion. It will mark a new phase in my life while I embark on a grand adventure.

During the past 10 years, I’ve moved thousands of miles from home to further my career and my education. I know what it’s like to have to adjust to new surroundings. And although change has its challenging moments – it’s something I thrive on.

Even though I’ve lived in and visited many places in the United States, I’ve never been able to travel overseas. Being part of the University of Montana’s Grizzlies Abroad study abroad program in New Zealand and Sydney is the fulfillment of a dream. I know that experiencing a different environment and learning about a new culture will make me see the world from a fresh perspective.

I’m thrilled to be able to share this experience through my blogs. My readers will get an honest account of my time spent in both countries. I’ll be able to share the innovative ways Kiwi and Aussie companies are practicing sustainability. I’ll pass along bits of wisdom and advice I acquire to fellow travelers. I’ll also let my readers back home in on some of the country’s best-kept secrets.

Thank you and stay tuned!
