Hello everyone!

Finally after almost what feels like a whole week of traveling, we’ve arrived! Our journey was a little chaotic, but we made it! We were lucky enough to fly on the inaugural Qantas flight from the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport to Brisbane, so we got to catch a little party, complete with kangaroo meat appetizers and a fun photo opp with a kangaroo, pictured below!

Right now, we’re on beautiful Magnetic Island, and we’re all so excited to be settled. It took three flights, a bus ride, and a ferry, and we’re finally here. You may not think so, but there is such thing as extreme ferrying. We literally held on for dear life for thirty minutes as we jetted toward the island.

So far, it’s just great getting to see a little bit of Australia and its lifestyle. We’ve been to a grocery store and a few other little stores, and it’s interesting to say the least to see and hear Australians in their natural habitat.
