5, 584. That’s how many miles Eleanor drove in under three months last fall making campus visits. And that was only in her car. If you calculate all the rental car miles, Eleanor probably clocked 8,000 miles.
Curious what is one of Eleanor’s biggest dilemmas for road travel? Read her account:
“Sure, the long drives are tiring. Sure, they can be boring…especially when it’s midnight and no one will answer phone calls for a chat. But what’s my main beef with road travel? Keeping all my electronic gadgets charged!
It’s practically impossible to remember every charger necessary since no companies have compatible chargers (of course not, they want us to buy theirs). Thus, I find myself with a low battery on my iPhone and simultaneously a low battery on my GPS. Both gadgets running out of battery simultaneously leave me without directions to my next meeting.
But wait, a solution! The Solio Classic charger renders multiple chargers unnecessary. The solar charger adapts to fit all my gadgets and keeps them all charged. Plus, it’s eco-friendly and made by a company with a global awareness.
The price tag isn’t bad when you compare it to what you would spend on separate chargers for each of your gadgets. And I love the fact that it’s designed for easy dismantling and recycling.
All I do is lay the Solio charger in my passenger seat and watch it soak up light coming in the window to produce the necessary energy. Even if I’m caught at midnight with a low battery, no worries because the Solio charger holds its charge and releases energy as needed.”
To spread the sustainable and useful creation that is the Solio charger, we’re giving away one, compliments of Solio.
