Boarding an airplane in the States can feel like being a herded cow. Then once you’re on board the sentiment changes to being a sardine squished into a can. Needless to say, if you’ve flown economy class then it’s not the most pleasant experience and far from luxurious.

Elsewhere in the world, especially in Asia and the Middle East, airline travel remains a well-catered transportation form that seeks to please fliers. Skytrax recently listed the world’s 10 best airlines. Not a single U.S. airline company made the list, however both Air New Zealand and Qantas, which both fly to the South Pacific, received honors.

If you board a program group flight from Student Universe bound for Australia, New Zealand or Fiji, then chances are that you’ll receive multiple meals and snacks during the flight while watching movies on your personal media screen. And your elbows won’t be jabbing into the side of your seat neighbor either!
