The Mercer 2010 Quality of Living survey is out, and its results rank cities throughout Australia and New Zealand as the most livable.
The Quality of Living index list includes 221 cities worldwide. Although European cities dominated the top 25 cities in the index, the South Pacific saw high rankings.
Listed in the top 50 cities were Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide in Australia and Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand.
All of these cities also made the top 50 eco-city ranking, which is based on water availability, water potability, waste removal, quality of sewage systems, air pollution and traffic congestion.
