National Geographic has issued an online interactive map that answers these questions and

more. The map was produced as part National Geographic’s Great Energy Challenge, a three-year initiative designed to help all of us better understand the breadth and depth of our current energy situation.

For those of you that have already studied abroad with us, and now understand the interactions between humans and the environment, have your carbon emissions subsequently been reduced? If so, what are you doing differently? What is your Ecological Footprint? What words of advice can you offer to the students about to embark on their study abroad adventure?
