If you’re headed on a program this summer, hopefully you’ve heard from your faculty member by now about the AUIP student blogger positions available. If not though, here’s the scoop:
AUIP is selecting students from each of its summer programs to serve as a student blogger. The bloggers will provide firsthand accounts of their study abroad experiences in the South Pacific. Our blog readers include current, alumni and prospective students; parents; faculty and staff; suppliers; field guides and anyone else interested in overseas experiences. Bloggers will reach this immense community and be read by over 11,000 blog visitors annually.
Last summer’s bloggers wrote about everything from reef walks on Lady Elliot Island to devouring Fergburgers in Queenstown. What might you write about as a blogger?
Bloggers must commit to write a blog at least one time per week for the duration of the study abroad program and also create at least two video blogs within two months of returning to the U.S.
If you’re interested, be sure to visit the AUIP News webpage and download the application. Applications must be completed and submitted by April 27, 2012.
And be sure to read all the amazing Student Perspective blogs that student bloggers have written thus far.
