Did you take thousands of photos on your AUIP study abroad program? Are some of those photos just amazing? Well, we want to see them soon!
The 2010 Photo Contest: It’s the Ultimate Field Trip! launches September 1, 2010 at all our partner universities throughout the United States.
The photo contest is open to all AUIP alumni who have studied abroad on an AUIP program. Photo submissions must be the entrant’s original work and must have been taken abroad during an AUIP program in Antarctica, Australia, Fiji or New Zealand.
All photos must be submitted to the AUIP Facebook fan page by 9:00 a.m., EST on Thursday, September 30, 2010. If you aren’t a fan of our page yet, then check us out on Facebook. A panel of judges will be appointed by the photo contest coordinator to evaluate photo submissions based on originality, creativity, impact and artistic merit.
Prizes and contest sponsors will be announced on the AUIP website, Facebook fan page, blog and Twitter prior to the contest submission deadline.
So, start sorting through your photos, picking your favorites and narrowing down your submission selection. And check back for more details about the contest rules closer to the contest start date.
