Steve Parish, award-winning wildlife photographer and Order of Australia recipient, is celebrating his 50th year of photographing Australia. Steve started his career photographing marine life on Australia’s coast line and in the years since, he has spent much of his life traveling Australia, capturing the land, its wildlife and its people in spectacular images. To celebrate his work he has published his story in Steve Parish: 50 Years Photographing Australia but check out some of his amazing work here.

We can’t wait to see your photos from the 2011 programs so keep an eye out for updates about the photo competition on our blog and Facebook page. In the meantime post some of your favorite shots to our Facebook page to share with us and other AUIP alumni.
