Each week, National Geographic Adventure posts their favorite photos of athletes doing extreme sports around the world.

This week we were proud to see a bodyboarding photo from Shark Island, Australia, which is outside Sydney, featured as the key image.

We certainly know our students love the adventurous side of our programs regardless of it’s snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, kayaking in Fiji or taking a polar plunge in Antarctica!

Some program participants might even say that meeting a 1,000-pound bull during a farm stay qualifies as an adventurous activity! Dr. Eric Toman and Jennifer Sherry from Ohio State and Dr. David McMurray from Oregon State certainly thought so, pictured left.
