Students from the South Queensland program or those that had a stopover between North Queensland and Fiji will have spent some time in the city of Brisbane.

For some time, Brisbane was considered the boring city of Australia with little culture, no beach, no beauty and very little to do. In tourism terms it functioned as pretty much a stopover between Byron Bay and further north. We at AUIP have always thought this was inaccurate with Eleanor even calling this city home for large parts of the year.

We were glad to see this article published in The Age where Ben Groundwater refutes these claims and shares his very positive views and tips for things to do in Brisbane.
