In order to improve our logistics, relationships with faculty and providers, marketing and overall program quality, our staff members from time to time accompany a university on their program.

During the past three and half weeks, both Donna and Eleanor from our team had the opportunity to spend time with the Virginia Tech and Brockport State University of New York programs in North Queensland.

From snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef to learning about Tyrconnell Gold Mine’s history, pictured right, to hiking through the Daintree Rainforest, Donna and Eleanor enjoyed participating in the program activities with students. Even those impromptu bonding moments, such as lengthy chats on bus rides and laughing about clothes in need of washing, provided many memories.

Donna and Eleanor came away from their travels with over 40 people they can now consider friends. Friends with whom they look forward to staying in touch and seeing again in the near future!

Post a comment about meeting Donna or Eleanor. And be sure to read the blog in the coming weeks for Field Notes from the North Queensland program.
