AUIP Advisory Council

AUIP’s Advisory Council was established in 2010 to offer advice on how to achieve AUIP’s goal of continuously improving its South Pacific programs’ academic quality, logistics services, and risk management support. The Advisory Council is AUIP’s “eyes and ears” in the field: it gives information on the issues most salient to faculty, international education offices, and universities as a whole. Its members bring varied experience and expertise related to study abroad, such as risk management, academics, and student wellbeing. They offer recommendations on academic planning, program development, and faculty and administrator concerns, for AUIP’s flagship programs as well as customized programs. The Advisory Council members also offer diverse perspectives on how AUIP might grow, develop in new directions, and follow best practices in the field.

The Advisory Council meets annually in the US and is comprised of four members from our partner universities, each of whom serves a two-year term. If you are a faculty or staff member working closely with AUIP and would be interested in contributing to our shared mission as part of the Advisory Council, please contact us!
