Many said they couldn\u2019t possibly choose just one aspect of the program or their free time, as every day held something new and exciting. <a href=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/05\/royal-national-park-group-hike.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-70\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/05\/royal-national-park-group-hike.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a sampling of what each students cited:<\/p>\n<p>John Byrnes: Hiking in the Blue Mountains with guide Muliyan<\/p>\n<p>Akela Gabbadon: Koala &amp; kangaroo encounter in Wildlife World<\/p>\n<p>Jason Lentz: Hiking in the Blue Mountains &amp; meeting Muliyan<\/p>\n<p>Liz Lozano: Dancing in King\u2019s Cross<\/p>\n<p>Stephanie Marshall: Blue Mountains &amp; meeting everyone in the group<\/p>\n<p>Alex Pillow: Tribal Warrior cruise and Clark Island<\/p>\n<p>Ja\u2019stevia Sallet: Fast ferry over to Taronga<\/p>\n<p>Shawdae Thomas-Smith: Encountering animals, esp. kangaroos, in Wildlife World<\/p>\n<p>Keara Ziegerer: Clark Island, \u201cour private island\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And lead professor Steve Holland says he too must pick Clark Island as his highlight. Steve\u2019s wife, Sallie, accompanied him on the trip and bonded with the students with her witty comments and easy-going attitude.<\/p>\n<p>The students fly out to Christchurch, New Zealand tomorrow to meet up with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hhp.ufl.edu\/dir\/links\/gibsonH.php\">Dr. Heather Gibson<\/a> and other students for their next adventure: the 3.5-week <a href=\"http:\/\/auip.com\/programs\/newzealand.php\">New Zealand program<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the Sydney program concludes, we asked our students, pictured left, to name their favorite activity during the past eight days.
