I have been given the opportunity to travel to Australia, and while it seems daunting at times, I am looking forward to the positively enchanting feeling of exploring a new place.<\/p>\n

 
\nI\u2019ve been fortunate to travel to Europe two times and have also talked with others who have been to more countries than I could ever dream of visiting. There seems to be a common thread when it comes to talking about travel: passionate expression of dreams and aspirations. It\u2019s with this mindset I want to embark on my trip to Australia.<\/p>\n

My study abroad program with Baylor University, coordinated by AUIP, will focus on environmental science, including field experiences in the rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Outback. (But this time I don\u2019t expect to find any fried blooming onions!) It is going to test my knowledge, strength, stamina, and push me to limits that both intimidate and excite me, but I would not choose any other way to spend my summer. After all, as humans, we are meant to learn from the challenges of our surrounding environment and grow from our experiences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
