I am now on my way to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.australia.com\/en\/places\/adelaide.html\">Adelaide<\/a> with the <a href=\"http:\/\/illinois.edu\/\">University of Illinois<\/a> to study global health, and am looking forward to so many things including the opportunity to learn from the foreign systems and people.<\/p>\n<p>I was drawn to this program for several reasons. I study biological anthropology, and hope to obtain a master\u2019s degree in public health. An opportunity like this, that combines an examination of global healthcare with the opportunity to explore <a href=\"http:\/\/www.australia.com\/en-gb\">Australian<\/a> culture firsthand is important to me. Additionally, as part of our curriculum, we will meet members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flyingdoctor.org.au\/\">Royal Flying Doctor Service<\/a>. As a pilot with an interest in medicine and care accessibility, I have never come across an opportunity that so perfectly melds my interests into one experience.<\/p>\n<p>What excites me most about this study abroad is knowing how much I will learn during my stay. I am excited to arrive with an open mind, ready to take on new knowledge and experiences.
