When planning your upcoming trip, browsing the multitude of guidebooks online or crowding Borders<\/a>\u2019 shelves can be quite a daunting sight. Well, we recently grabbed some copies of Rough Guides<\/a> and are impressed with the easy to use content.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The introductory \u201ccolour\u201d section provides an overall feeling for the country and its offerings. For the first-time visitor to the country, this section\u2019s general comments will orient you. And definitely use the \u201c30 things not to miss\u201d write-up as a starting point of must-see places.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re fond of the \u201cguide\u201d chapters that break regions into sections with detailed travel suggestions, such as shuttle companies, beach accommodations and off-the-beaten-path restaurants.<\/p>\n

In the Rough Guide to New Zealand<\/a>, pictured left, we\u2019re impressed to read one of Rough Guides\u2019 favorite Christchurch restaurants is the favorite of our Managing Director Laura<\/a>: The Bodhi Tree<\/a>. Although, all our staff have their own picks<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n
