Yep, word of mouth!<\/p>\n<p>Students consistently prefer to hear about study abroad options from a person. And no better people exist to talk about our programs than our alumni.<\/p>\n<p>Hence, this year we hired a team of AUIP marketing interns at some of our partner universities. The purpose of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.auip.com\/news\/auip.php\">AUIP Marketing Internship Program<\/a> is to support faculty, partner universities and AUIP in the campus marketing and student recruitment for programs.<\/p>\n<p>Our partner universities and we were thrilled with the applications received and know these interns will be a positive voice for the programs.<\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to announce our 2011-12 academic year marketing interns:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buckeyesabroad.org\/\">Buckeyes Abroad<\/a> at Ohio State: Chris Tom<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/studyabroad.wfu.edu\/\">Deacons Abroad<\/a> at Wake Forest: Kasha Patel<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.floridadownunder.org\/\">Florida Down Under<\/a> at University of Florida: Hannah Strange<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.grizzliesabroad.org\/\">Grizzlies Abroad<\/a> at University of Montana: Bowen Humphreys<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hokiesabroad.org\/\">Hokies Abroad<\/a> at Virginia Tech: Amanda Wilson<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lionsabroad.org\/\">Lions Abroad<\/a> at Penn State: Alyse Horn<\/p>\n<p>Now you can speak with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.auip.com\/alumni\">program alumni<\/a> directly on your campus to learn more about a program. Be sure to look for these interns at study abroad fairs, information sessions, information tables and class visits, amongst other events.<\/p>\n<p>And check back over the coming week for introductory intern blog posts to get to know them.
