{"id":2272,"date":"2010-09-27T13:51:00","date_gmt":"2010-09-27T01:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/auip.wordpress.com\/?p=320"},"modified":"2010-09-27T13:51:00","modified_gmt":"2010-09-27T01:51:00","slug":"postcard-suny-fairs-cover-new-york-statewide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/auip.com\/blog\/postcard-suny-fairs-cover-new-york-statewide\/","title":{"rendered":"Postcard: SUNY fairs cover New York statewide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From Fredonia on the banks of Lake Erie to our partner at Brockport and from Oswego on the banks of Lake Ontario to Plattsburgh in northeast Upstate New York and to multiple places in between, <a href=\"http:\/\/auip.com\/about\/eleanor.php\">Eleanor<\/a> traveled over 1,500 miles in the past two weeks to <a href=\"www.sunydowunder.org\">State University of New York<\/a> study abroad fairs.<\/p>\n<p>Catching up with our partners and meeting potential students highlighted her week. Most students expressed interest in our <a href=\"http:\/\/auip.com\/programs\/northqueensland.php\">Northeast Queensland program<\/a> offered at Brockport. <a href=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/suny-travels.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-321\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/suny-travels.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The road travel certainly isn\u2019t as glamorous as some people think. With four people including Brockport study abroad advisors, suitcases and marketing brochures, banners and displays all packed in an eco-friendly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toyota.com\/highlander\/\">Highlander Hybrid<\/a>, the car had no space to spare, as the picture to the left shows.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, the road warriors still had a blast driving all over the state together. \u201cWhen we weren\u2019t working, Lindsay Herbert made sure to pack in multiple fun activities, including dinners at unique restaurants that are local favorites.
