After the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/ap\/us_gulf_oil_spill\">Deepwater Horizon oil spill<\/a>, additional concerns have been raised about the Gulf of Mexico\u2019s food industry.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/food-producers.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-314\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/food-producers.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"259\" \/><\/a>We recently discovered online the array of publications from <a href=\"http:\/\/chefscollaborative.org\/\">The Chefs Collaborative<\/a> and suggest reading the <a href=\"http:\/\/chefscollaborative.org\/category\/articles\/\">\u201cFood Producers and their Place-Based Foods at Risk in the Gulf Coast,&#8221;<\/a> pictured left. The downloadable guide has a useful section on foods at risk in the Gulf Coast foodshed, breaking them into categories of threatened, endangered and oil damaged.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s scary to find out that the goliath grouper is both endangered and oil damaged.
