Not at Hawai\u2019i though!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/auip.com\/eleanor\/\">Eleanor<\/a> visited UH-Hilo on the Big Island and UH-Manoa on Oahu this week and lost count of the beach clothing attired students and the number of friendly students.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/hilo-study-abroad-fair.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-294\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/auip.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/hilo-study-abroad-fair.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>The UH-Hilo study abroad fair on Tuesday and Wednesday generated serious interest in the <a href=\"http:\/\/globalvulcans.org\/\">Global Vulcans programs<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.hawaii.edu\/~cmuir\/Site\/Dr._Cam_Muir.html\">Dr. Cam Muir<\/a>, pictured left with Eleanor, who lead their 2010 <a href=\"http:\/\/auip.com\/programs\/newzealand.php\">New Zealand program<\/a> stropped by the fair, as did <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.hawaii.edu\/~mautz\/\">Dr. Bill Mautz<\/a> who will lead <a href=\"http:\/\/auip.com\/programs\/southqueensland.php\">Australia<\/a> 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout Eleanor\u2019s visit, students offered to escort her to meetings and show her around campus. Carolina Lam\u2019s team of student volunteers made every aspect of the fair run flawlessly.<\/p>\n<p>Sunny skies, except for her last day, and temperatures in the mid-80s made for a steamy but beautiful time in Hawai\u2019i for Eleanor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Montana or SUNY-Brockport, seeing a student donning a sundress overtop a bikini or board shorts would be an unlikely sight.
