Faculty-led program services for your every need

AUIP provides clients with comprehensive faculty-led program services. We provide unparalleled logistic services because we are locally based: we have relationships with providers of accommodation and transport, with business owners and tour operators throughout our South Pacific destinations, with local government representatives and entrepreneurs who can enrich your programs, with academics and researchers across both the public and private sectors, and with local guides who provide cultural mentorship and can be matched to individual programs. We know how our destinations work and we look after every detail of your program, from getting you the best group flight options to arranging the best activities to match your learning goals.

We also provide unparalleled academic support as part of our faculty-led program services. We have a doctoral-level qualified academic on our staff who can liaise with you about what you need to form an academically rich and rigorous program. This academic support in the program development process might include organizing local site visits, speakers and activities that will help to provide content for your course, to researching and accessing appropriate readings, to developing and shaping your syllabus with you. Our goal is to provide complete faculty-led program services to add value to university-level programs of all kinds.

AUIP provides invaluable services, ranging from scheduling, marketing, and logistics, to risk management and academic planning. There is no way I could, or would, lead study abroad courses without AUIP’s professional partnership

Program development

We work with you to develop an itinerary centered around the locations and experiences needed to meet your course objectives. Collaborate with us in this development process to expedite the creation of your itinerary, course proposal, and program budget to meet your university approval deadlines and begin recruiting students.

Academic support

If you need academic support, we have it! Draw on the expertise of our academic manager in creating a rigorous program for your students. Use our assistance in sourcing readings, lecturers, and other experts, and in developing your course syllabus, experiential learning activities, and assessment materials.

Detailed logistics

We provide logistics support before, during, and after your study abroad program. Your faculty-led program services include an itinerary, flights, accommodation, transportation, teaching spaces, and field excursions which are managed by a program coordinator who remains on call throughout your course.

Marketing assistance

Draw on our proven resources to assist you in recruiting students. These include professionally designed advertising material, an alumni internship program, social media integration, and customized campus marketing action plans.

Pre-departure support

We are committed to providing comprehensive pre-departure support for faculty leaders and study abroad staff as well as student participants. Take advantage of our student and faculty handbooks, orientation presentations, and a pre-departure video call with AUIP staff.

Risk management

You and your students will be well taken care of with our risk management and emergency support systems. As health and safety is our top priority, your program will be risk assessed and action plans will be put in place with 24/7 access to our emergency response team.

Consortium options

There are opportunities for groups wishing to join with another university. This allows you to minimize costs and to run a course even with small enrollments. Contact us to learn about possible university partners for your program type.

Working with AUIP has always been a pleasure—they are incredibly responsive, super attentive to safety and risk management concerns, and genuinely concerned for the learning and welfare of our participants. Because they have academics on their staff, they understand the academic environment with all its expectations, challenges, and concerns.
